- dmitrygr 2y agoAnd i'll worry once I hit any one of them. So far: none.
- vo2maxer 2y agoBetter keep my link handy. ;)
- bracketfocus 2y agoI’ve been using a macbook as my main driver for 5 years, never had an issue.
- dmitrygr 2y agoJudging by the content of that link, this is probably for Intel based devices. The Apple Silicon based ones are basically giant iPads. I don’t ever remember an iPad having an issue with sleep. And they’ve existed for a decade or more now. I honestly don’t expect to need that link.
- cosmic_cheese 2y agoThe only time I’ve had trouble with Macs sleeping recently is when they have wake on LAN enabled. Switching that off makes sleep work as expected.
- 47282847 2y agoHm. I have a Macbook M3 and it doesn’t come up from sleep every third time or so, freezing and then force-restarting all running apps in the background. Most other times it takes up to a minute to show the login screen. No idea how to debug. Still hoping for some update to magically fix it.
