- duxup 2y agoAs far as I can tell the GOP doesn’t have a platform as far as individual politicians go. It’s loyalty to Trump first and whatever he says… even if it is the opposite of last week.
- Terr_ 2y agoI have unironically begun referring to today's US Republican party as a cult, because it's one of the very few ways that can explain the profusion of contradictory statements and double-standards. The true rule is "Dear Leader is ultimately right and we deserve to get what we want." Everything else is just a... a strategic insincerity.
