- lsc 14y ago1 slice of pan-fried bacon is under 50 calories. If that's the meat in my sandwich, yeah, I think 8 sounds pretty reasonable. on the other hand, that's a lot of salt. nearly 200mg of sodium per slice. so yeah, if you are watching your sodium intake? probably a bad idea. But calorie-wise, completely reasonable.
