- W-Stool 2y agoOne of my all-time favorite movies that not many of my friends have seen. What a shame ...
- vo2maxer 2y agoI was about to watch Francis Ford Coppola’s little-seen You’re a Big Boy Now on Criterion, but you’ve convinced me—I’m forking over the rental and watching True Romance.
- hyperpl 2y agoVery curious to hear feedback from someone watching it for their first time ~30 years after its release. I watched it incessantly around the time it came out but haven't watched it much since - queued it up for the coming weeks.
- vo2maxer 2y agoLoved it. Five quotes from the many: “I’d love some pie.” “-I think what you did was… -What? -I think what you did was… -What? -Was so romantic. -Oh, baby, you’re bleeding.” “Son of a bitch was right. She tastes like a peach.” “You got me in a vendetta kind of mood. You can tell the angels in heaven you never seen evil so singularly personified as you did in the face of the man who killed you.” “You’re so cool. You’re so cool. You’re so cool.”

- jrace 2y agoMine too. I am not a big romance movie fan, but this is my favorite. Characters you should hate but somehow want to succeed. IMO one of Gary Oldmans best role.
- ManuelKiessling 2y agoHow come the full movie is available at https://archive.org/details/true-romance-1993_202312 https://archive.org/details/true-romance-1993_202312? Did someone smuggle a pirated version into Archive, or is it legit?
- glandium 2y agoThere's a bunch of legally dubious things in Archive, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of them.
