On the bright side, the environment will do better since people will be buying less stuff.
- xnx 2y agoI keep thinking how radically/anarchically/unintentionally degrowth this administration is. We will probably see further reduced demand for oil because of global recession.
- yread 2y agoIt already dropped oil prices substantially. And they are denominated in dollars which also dropped. Trump is going to make Russia suffer!

- kerkeslager 2y agoOh don't worry, I'm sure they've got some plan to burn down all the forests on NFS land or something that equally serves no purpose except to own the libs.
- therealdrag0 2y agoNot if the stuff we do buy is worse for the environment. I just bought an EV, I’m worse off financially for it, but I could afford it. If I was worried about a recession I wouldn’t have splurged like that. Same with installing a heat pump and reinsulating my attic.
