- BMc2020 2y agoI recall reading the 'ghost rockets' craze in Sweden at the time was part of an operation to probe Soviet radar capabilities.
- Cthulhu_ 1y agoMakes sense; iirc the Enigma code was broken in part due to many / all messages having the same "heil hitler" sign at the end. Encouraging the messages to use the same words - like "flying saucer" or "ufo" - would help with the decoding process.
