I was trying to say that LLMs will not become more than what they are, especially since they are tools for profit in the modern system. It’s like an iPhone — the latest iPhone 16 Pro is, of course, better than the iPhone 3G, but conceptually, there is nothing new. The same goes for LLMs. In 15 years, we will probably have the same hallucinating LLM, just 10% thinner and 20% faster. The tech industry, especially big corporations, doesn’t chase innovation; it chases repeatable, predictable profit.
