'I was so shocked': Rare piece of history uncovered on downtown SF street
- rmason 2y agoI fondly remember going to those 'tiki' bars when I was younger. In Lansing we had a place called 'the boom boom room' that was there unchanged for close to fifty years. There were even relatively small towns that had similar bars started by WW2 vets. Been waiting for 'tiki' bars to make a comeback. A few years ago three 'tiki' bars popped up in Detroit and just as quickly disappeared. Maybe Gen A2 will rediscover them.
