Ask HN: Do you penalize hiring candidates from companies that do shady things?
And has that changed, over time?
- JohnFen 2y agoNo, I don't on its face. However, it will get me to ask them additional questions trying to determine if their ethical/moral sensibilities are aligned with the questionable company or not.
- PaulHoule 2y agoIf they left/are leaving because of the shadiness wouldn't that reflect positively on their character?
