Interactive AI-generated Wikipedia?
- eyoel_g 2y agoI've been messing around with having AI generate entire Wikipedia-like web-pages. This makes it possible to do things like ask arbitrary questions about the content you're exploring or generate content expansions where-ever you need them. Try it out: http://wiki-ai.link http://wiki-ai.link
- timonoko 2y agoAI seems to work best, when issues are cross-boundaries cross-languages. Wikipages are always from one particular viewpoint and often conflict in different languages. Try "Why no Samuli Paulaharju's book was ever translated to Norwegian?" (while he writes a lot about Norway)
- eyoel_g 2y agoMost wikipages contain very broad surface level knowledge, wouldn't that be considered cross-language?
- timonoko 2y agoIf you ask the question above, AI gives good explanation why the books are ignored. Any of the wikipages do not touch the issue, because it is political and nobody wants to remember that, especially Wikipedia editors, who have very particular worldview.
