- PaulHoule 2y agoTwo concerns. (1) Humans already have a lot of longevity factors compared to other animals so drugs that extend life in mice might just be bringing them closer to where we are already. This experiment (expensively) used primates so it is more interesting than usual. (2) Metformin seems to suppress the beneficial metabolic response to exercise!
