- amy214 2y agoNotably 23andme is, at least said to have been, already sold: https://cacm.acm.org/news/multiple-data-leaks-at-23andme/ https://cacm.acm.org/news/multiple-data-leaks-at-23andme/ Specifically there were those hacks a year or two back where a hacker named "Golem" publicized hacked data, I believe Sergey Brin or Larry Page and various others were in there. That was just HLA typing from what I saw (not the whole set of SNPs) Separately, as listed in the source above, it was said 300 TB of 23andme data was leaked through a hole in the pharma API, sold on the darknet to an Iranian guy, never to be heard from again
