My jest wasn't meant to say that Rust is expanding to do everything, but rather the opposite. The comment I replied to somehow seems to believe Rust is becoming more "OOP", so I took it a step further and also referenced a fairly known pitfall for platforms (so doesn't even apply to programming languages, in my mind). In the end, it's a joke with no even a pinch of truth, which seems to have landed flat, that's on me I suppose.
