LG drops support for DTS sound on its 2025 TVs

A high quality 2.1 setup will dramatically outperform "certified" DD/DTS gear in most residential settings, regardless of the # of advertised channels. The best mix is a good stereo mix. Leave the DSP an implementation detail specific to whatever given room & gear. For example, 80Hz for crossover (the ".1") is a nice approximation, but I've operated setups with the mains running down to 40Hz because they were capable and the outcome is far superior to what THX would certify.
