Is this all an American thing or is Europe seeing a similar revival?

  Funland, in the Trocadero off Picadilly Circus (very much the geekiest place in London), closed fairly recently. I find it hard to believe there'd be a better place for an arcade in the UK, possibly anywhere in Europe, so it seems like a pretty bad sign. The one big success story here is the namco center, which I think works on a pay-for-the-day basis; I've only known corporate days out there rather than people going on their own.
