Dario Amodei was in an interview where he said that OpenAI beat them (Anthropic) by mere days to be the first to release. That first move ceded the recognition to ChatGPT but according to Dario it could have been them just the same.
- vessenes 2y agoInteresting bit of history! That said, OpenAI’s product team is lights out. I pay for most LLM provider apps, and I use them for different areas of strength, but the ChatGPT product is superior from a user experience perspective.
