Never underestimate the momentum of a poorly understood idea that appears as magic to the average person. Once the money starts flowing, that momentum will increase until the idea hits a brick wall that its creators can't gaslight people about. I hope that realization happens before "vibe coding" is accepted as standard practice by software teams (especially when you consider the poor quality of software before the LLM era). If not, it's only a matter of time before we refer to the internet as "something we used to enjoy."
