Three Chapters at Cloudflare: Programmer to CTO to Board of Directors
- SomethingSubtle 2y agoHuzzah! Well deserved.
- jgrahamc 2y agoThanks!
- asim 2y agoWish you well in your new role John. You did a great job as CTO.
- jgrahamc 2y agoCheers!
- johng 2y agoI am both amazed and a bit scared about how big Cloudflare has become. They offer so much value for free. I have a couple of paid services with them, and I also now use them for my domain registrar. The amount of traffic that flows through Cloudflare is unreal. It's a single point of failure if you want to call it that -- but from a website owner's perspective -- the caching and bandwidth savings for free is a hard bargain to pass up.
- sudsred 2y agoIn my own humble opinion, jgc is the reason behind Cloudflare's open culture and incredible post-mortems. Thanks for making Cloudflare an incredible company to work for and with John. <3
- jgrahamc 2y agoI was part of that, but many others helped that be a reality include the CEO.
- MattSayar 2y agoCongrats on your promotion(?) and I wish you well in your new position. I enjoy reading your comments around here and look forward to seeing how you continue to steer the company from a different seat.
- jgrahamc 2y agoThanks!
- tiffanyh 2y agoSo excited for you jgrahamc!
- jgrahamc 2y ago:heart
- mpeg 2y agoMan, I remember when you used to run the unofficial HN job board, I sent you a role to post there and you did (probably the first role I ever was involved in hiring for!), I spent the rest of the day bragging to people in the office about how the "Alan Turing guy" had replied to my email Next thing I knew, Cloudflare was everywhere. What an incredible run! Really well deserved, I wish you the best in your new role
- jgrahamc 2y agoMany thanks.
- MrPerfect72 2y agoAnd now the leading WEF:ers seem to use it to block targeted individuals attacked with techhnology described in the "omniwar symmposium".
- tosh 2y agoIncredible run, all the best going forward!
- jgrahamc 2y agoThank you!
