>Ultra-processed foods, which have typically undergone many industrial changes such as the addition of preservatives, sweeteners, and artificial flavors…
Would like to see the definition… that second quotation was the best I could see
- duskwuff 2y agoDoesn't look like the definition has been introduced yet; the current bill is a placeholder: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtml?bill_id=202520260AB1264 https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billTextClient.xhtm...
- gosub100 2y agoI wonder if there will be specific carve-outs for Gavin Newsomes special friends, like how Panera got an exemption from the minimum wage hike?
- mortos 2y agoI guess we'll be fighting this one until the end of time. Panera never had a carve out and was never exempt. Newsom never met with Flynn Group (Panera's owner).[1] [1] https://www.politico.com/news/2024/02/29/gavin-newsom-fast-food-panera-00144282 https://www.politico.com/news/2024/02/29/gavin-newsom-fast-f...
- gosub100 2y ago"The Governor never met with Flynn" All that would be needed for that statement to be true is if Flynn's lawyer talked to one of Newsom's. Follow the money. Baking bread has nothing whatsoever to do with how much it costs to live in CA. It's a carve-out. 325_290_8544
