I don't think it's polarizing. Jobs are how we keep our lives together. With dehumanizing business practices, we need to only look out for our selves and family. After an 8 month job search and financial stress none of that other stuff matters. I think workers want what you described. And silicon valley /sf bay area companies used to create environments like you described and I think we were mostly satisfied. But it feels like it's not like that anymore. Companies are lo the ones being adversario imo
