How to Write Blog Posts That Developers Read
- mtlynch 2y agoAuthor here. I'm happy to take any feedback or answer any questions about this post.
- codingdave 2y agoMaybe I am just feeling rebellious this morning, but the title makes me think to myself, "Oh yeah? I'll show you. I ain't reading it!"
- mtlynch 2y agoThat's okay! Coincidentally, I cover this in the post. FTA: >The point isn’t to write articles that appeal to every possible reader but to notice opportunities to reach a larger audience.

- jascha_eng 2y agoThe post is great thanks for that but you need a new less clickbaity title to succeed I think :D It triggers my inner clickbait resistance too much as well. If I didn't go to the reddit comments and saw some good discussion, I would have never read it.
- mtlynch 2y agoThanks for reading! I get the sense that it's the topic more than the title. I think there's a lot of bad writing about blogging, so people have an allergic reaction. Is there an alternative title you suggest?
- jascha_eng 2y agoI think even something as simple as removing the "How to" might do it.
