- OgsyedIE 2y agoBesides the interconnection queue one of the big, big bottlenecks in building more transformers and pylons is getting enough of the right kinds of electrical steel. The south is getting more steelworker jobs right now but AFAIK the midwest isn't, for unclear reasons.
