Because money (a clever concept people invented) is more important than people.
- Arnt 2y agoThis is about a company, another clever concept people invented, and companies depend conceptually on money. You can't have companies without money: you have to hand bookkeeping and the bookkeeping must have a positive number on the bottom line. Using reserves from previous years is legal, but there must be a positive number. That's just part of being a company. I feel sad for all the company managers who have to plan for a very uncertain future due to Trump's frequent u-turns, and for the employees they fire.
