The lack of pushback highlights two things, 1) the unquestionable power the executive branch has been granted is now being used to challenge the constitutional rights that were believed to be protected and 2) university leaders, even those at Ivy Leagues, have enough to lose that they’re terrified of this administration. If those aren’t concerning enough signals on their own, I don’t know what is.
