- blitzar 2y agoUnique username, password, name, email address, dob etc for every account + 2fa.
- pridkett 2y ago1Password makes this fairly easy. I’m sure other tools can too. But if you’ve got a tool, you just don’t need to think about it. As long as 1Password doesn’t get LastPass’d - although their architecture should prevent that.

- leftcenterright 2y agoJust don't submit your data to everyone who asks for it. A lot of website ask for your phone number and date of birth for no reason whatsoever.
- yetihehe 2y agoLike to microsoft. - Buy HALO on steam - Yeah, just make new a MS account, you can use temporary email and you're ready to go. - Play some time (oops, more than two hours, you can't return it now). - Next time you run, "We blocked your account due to strange activity, input phone number to unblock". Now without giving up your phone number, you can't continue to play the game you bought.
- reginald78 2y agoThis happened to me with Minecraft. It was amazing what a pain in the ass they made it to give them some money and then the gaslighting and hassle I had to endure to get what I paid for. I only play that game single player.
