- hunglee2 2y agoFinancial capitalism is destroying Industrial capitalism - these bonuses inflate asset prices for everyone else, leading to necessarily higher wage demands for labour, leading to increases in costs of manufacture in the US, leading to offshoring manufacturing to places where those things can be made more cost effectively. Trump is the political manifestation of 50 years of this process, though clearly he is no solution to it
