I have a colleague who is still pissed off about Google Reader. Nobody cares. The happy days of fun times with Google Labs in 2005 are the equivalent of my dad missing his 1965 Firebird when I was high school. 60% of the audience here doesn’t even know what you’re talking about. If you’re doing serious work in a fast mover space and are refusing to understand a major player, you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage.
