Hi HN,
I’ve been working on something called `Nomirun`, a toolkit designed to simplify the development and deployment of .NET services. If you’ve ever built .NET Web APIs, you’re probably familiar with the usual pain points: excessive boilerplate, duplicated setup, and the challenge of managing countless configurations, hosting code, Docker images, and CI/CD pipelines for each service. It becomes overwhelming, especially when dealing with multiple services and applications.
`Nomirun` adopts a different approach. Instead of creating standalone apps for every service, it allows you to build modular NuGet components that encapsulate your business logic. These components plug into a single, customizable host application, which can dynamically load and run them. In essence, you don’t scale by creating individual apps—you scale through modular services.
*Why take this approach?*
- *Less boilerplate:* Skip repetitive project setups—everything is modular and reusable.
- *Simpler maintenance:* Fewer projects to manage means less hassle.
- *Easier deployment:* No need to build custom Docker images. Quickly deploy by simply changing container configurations.
`Nomirun` is ideal for greenfield projects, full rewrites, and even partial rewrites. We successfully migrated a service by replacing its application infrastructure with a Nomirun module within the generic host.
If you’re curious, I’ve put together a quick 8-minute explainer video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH58cJkwXVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH58cJkwXVo

I’d love to hear your feedback—what do you think? Am I addressing a meaningful problem, or is this solution too niche?
*Note:* This is an alpha version of the MVP, so it’s not yet production-ready. I’m sharing it to gather feedback and see if the concept resonates with the community.
