I do wonder if things went differently we'd be 1000 years ahead of where we are now.

- gsf_emergency_2 2y agoThat's a feature of good ideas (not mere hype). Otoh, there's no discernible gap between AI & cryptocurrency
- gsf_emergency_2 2y agoAthenians (early AIdeologues) being too successful for their own good, then dropping the ball like Sama/PG? Their neighbors learning the wrong lessons? Surely other places before & somewhat after had to grapple (in sword & word ) with the implications of extending the "FranchAIse". Like in the Levant, forex.
