- SecretDreams 2y agoSo at Twitter for about 3 years and head of eng for <20 months. Is <20 months a long tenure in such a position?
- hx8 2y agoAgreed. The higher up you go the longer the expected tenure. 24 months is good for senior developers but it goes up from there.

I haven't seen it in quite some time either, but it has been more common during previous downturns. Presumably because everyone is trying to find signals that tech is dead to support their preconceived notions.

- root_axis 2y agoThis kind of thing gets reported on all the time, there are dozens of similar front page stories on HN over the years. It looks like you just didn't pay attention to those.
