Maybe his position was that he didn't think it is a good law? And at the same time he thinks purposely migendering someone is being an asshole?
My friend, this sounds like an example of you projecting your fears of "liberal suppression"
- jack_pp 2y agoIf he didn't think it is a good law he would've said so, he avoided answering and the conversation died out after that because it was clear we couldn't move past that. Purposely misgendering someone is indeed being an asshole but that's not the issue at hand. If someone calls me stupid or swears at me that makes me uncomfortable but I wouldn't expect he be reprimanded by the law by stripping away his freedoms.
