Tech is a treadmill. New framework, new language version, new tool version. Many, maybe most of the "improvements"...aren't. They are changes for the sake of change. Stability is a completely unknown concept. Eventually, you get tired of it. Doing something simple becomes ever more attractive. Me, I still teach tech, but I also build stone walls.
