Is it common to just yeet your self off the wall like that with out saying anything to the belayer?
- amatecha 2y agoShouldn't matter, they should be expecting you to fall at any moment, as that's what happens when climbing If it's a planned descent, usually you say "take" or similar to have the belayer hold the rope securely and then you ask to "lower" so the belayer lowers you in a controlled fashion.
