Could have been avoided with some basic research. Give your money where the industry is at the least trying to open source their appliances endpoints. Such as GE with their custom esphome framework and adapter or buy it with the intention to jailbreak.
- JohnFen 2y agoThis. Part of my evaluation about such a purchase is that if it uses WiFi and/or requires the use of an app, then I'm probably not buying it.
