- egl2020 2y agoWe hoisted the weight way overhead in the field house on a pulley system. One pulley was for the hoist, and another simulated the anchor point that the leader was falling past. The weight was held by a releasable clamp, and when release was triggered, you got a simulated leader fall: lots of slack and lots of potential energy. The rope burn eventually healed...
