Honestly this political system resembles that of many current post-Communist countries so this is the direction US is going, plus aircraft carriers and nuclear weapons. My inner conspiracy theorist says that some US entities might tested implementing such political turnover on that countries. I'm still outraged by the first presidency of Mr. T but then he looked overwhelmed by the institution of president. This time though... things are going at full speed.

Some of the arguments made when Trump rounded up and deported Venezuelans to El Salvador especially ring true in this aspect. Essentially the government can disappear whoever they want and ship them to a prison in another country without evidence or recourse.

  English speakers might not be most welcomed in Hispanophone world right now, time to learn French or something. German was lingua franca once as well, until they fucked it up.

  Czechia, Slovakia, Romania, Poland are equally rotten. Only difference is not as spectacularly as Hungary, without such an expressive face as Orban.

  Putin did in two steps: claimed election fraud, then claimed protesters were undesirables. Once he closed down free speech, dissenters were rounded up by private gangs (Proud boys?) and roughed up or poisoned. The Oligarch now control Russia.

    I have been always wondering how all these far-right/hooligan/skinhead thugs over here breed. Yup, sponsored and controlled by the top politicians and oligarchs themselves. The same pattern everywhere. You think "they will defend us against enemy"? Nope, they'll be the first to make business with foreign thugs - drugs, human and weapons trafficking, etc.
