Scam pulled off in Indian hackathon, won $85k just by rebranding Brave Browser
- greatgib 2y agoWhat I found the most funny is the official executable to be downloaded from the official website that is named: ping_installer (1).exe You clearly know that someone downloaded a file (having already a copy) and just uploaded that directly to the official website.
- InkCanon 2y agoOne of the more risible parts of this fiasco is that they publicly cloned Brave, then publicly committed all the changes they made.
