- belter 2y agoCan you imagine the CEO of the lead cloud provider telling his Developers: "Coding is just kind of like the language that we talk to computers. It's not necessarily the skill in and of itself"
- dartos 2y agoYeah, they do it all the time. they’re talking at the devs, but really talking to the market, since their job is partially to pump their own stock price. You can’t believe public CEO statements.
- toyg 2y agoLol, I'm a junior PM and I have the same question - in the end, developers tend to do whatever the fuck they want anyway...

- toyg 2y agoLol, nice try, I have enough self-running devs... I guess it's a cultural thing. Our CEO and CTO still commit code every other week (occasionally driving us mad), it's still a very bottom-up org despite having thousands of people now.
