- jaggs 2y agoHere we go again. The slow build up to weapons of mass destruction. Well worn playbook in action. Lovely. :)
- suraci 2y agoThis reminds me of another piece of news I recently came across: Five Chinese satellites practiced 'dogfighting' in space, Space Force says(https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43433717 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43433717) we shall fight in space, we shall fight under the seas and oceans...
- overu589 2y agoWe shall fight in our own minds. I do not speak of chinamen, American thought control is already waging a secret war upon us all. Beware the exogenous of Power https://pastebin.com/3cPXbjhA https://pastebin.com/3cPXbjhA
- sillywalk 2y ago"The wars of the future will not be fought on the battlefield or at sea. They will be fought in space, or possibly on top of a very tall mountain. In any case, most actual fighting will be done by small robots, and as you go forth today remember your duty is clear: to build and maintain those robots. " -- from The Simpsons

- aaron695 2y agoThey used an whetstone on an anchor and published? (already patented) Here's the actual article, it's stupid to think it's a tool for war - https://x.com/CollinSLKoh/status/1903575276539588788 https://x.com/CollinSLKoh/status/1903575276539588788 The only reason you'd want such a clean cut is to put it back together. It's already trivial to cut cables, this is why no one does it on purpose. It's like using nukes to trivially kill solders, it goes both ways.
