A schengen area visa would be very valuable for me, an American
- JumpCrisscross 2y ago> A schengen area visa would be very valuable for me, an American I don't believe any European country accepts 23andMe results as proof of ancestry.
- 999900000999 2y agoYou need to have documentation of I believe a grandparent having citizenship. I can’t claim French citizenship since some of my ancestors are from Louisiana. Likewise, you can’t get tribal benefits from a 23 and Me test. I guess the only good use for this would be in a medical setting. I don’t think the science is there yet, but hypothetically, let’s just say you could run a test and determine you’re genetically incompatible with certain medicines. That would need to be done under HIPAA protection and the results should be immediately destroyed once your doctor’s able to evaluate it. I’m generally against regulation, but I’m amazed this was legal in the first place. It’s cheaper and easier to buy a lordship in Scotland. https://www.scotlandtitles.com https://www.scotlandtitles.com 100$ and it carries the same weight, without giving a for-profit company your genetic information.
