Since it's nonprofit, are donations 501c3 deductible? I am on the council of a conservation foundation based in Costa Rica. We want to make it easy for US based philanthropists to donate and receive some tax benefits from the donation. There is an organization named Amigos of Costa Rica [1] which is set up for this purpose, but they have somewhat steep fees on top of the payment processor's, and they only reconcile the balance on a weekly basis, through wire xfers, which is not ideal.
