    Tesla and Musk have a long track record of misleading/exaggerated or outright fabricated claims. So far I've seen BYD deliver on all its promises but maybe I missed it (or my bias blinded me), do you have sources to show that BYD routinely lies?

    BYD made that statement in a product announcement to investors, and they seem to care about their reputation and not getting sued.
