"Its PSVR2 headset is arguably the most accessible on the market in terms of simplicity and price."
What? Quest 3S is $299 for a VR experience that is entirely self contained.
"Meta Quest 3 doing a surprisingly good job of mopping up the rest of the VR casual crowd"
They've sold over 20 million headsets, they completely dominate the market. Even most enthusaists buy the Quest 3.
I'm not a big fan of Meta as a company but this article is such obvious horseshit to anyone even casually acquainted with the VR industry. Junk journalism.
- JohnFen 2y ago> Junk journalism. It's an opinion piece, not a journalistic piece.
- scheeseman486 2y agoOpinion pieces are journalism and regardless of the semantics that don't actually matter, it outlays information it presents as facts which are not true. It's a poorly written, poorly researched article, opinion piece or no.
