Radiohead's "Fitter Happier" with a Modern Speech Synthesis Engine
- tmshapland 2y agoFor Radiohead’s 1997 ‘Fitter Happier’, Thom Yorke used the MacInTalk speech engine’s ‘Fred’ voice to produce the vocals. We updated the vocals with ElevenLabs modern speech synthesis. - redeux 2y agoI guess it's okay(ish) marketing. It would have been better to hear them together, but it also misses the point and takes a piece of art and turns it into something bland and uninspiring.
