Show HN: NockOut – Connect with Sports, Players and Venues

- subramanya1997 2y agoHey HN! I'm an active sports player, and I've always struggled with the same problem: finding the right people and places to play my favorite sports. Whether it's a casual badminton match or a competitive basketball game, it usually ends up being frustrating and time-consuming. I kept noticing similar frustrations popping up online, too—people tweeting things like: "Someone create an app that shows all public basketball courts and whether or not people are there. This would save me so much time lol."[1] "I have wanted pickup hoops forever."[1] So instead of waiting around, my team and I built NockOut. It's a platform that makes it super easy to: Discover games based on your skill, location, and schedule. Match with players who share your interests and skill level. Join an active community of sports enthusiasts. (Coming soon!) Book venues and courts with real-time availability. We're in beta right now, and I'd love to get feedback from you all here on HN. Check it out at nockout.co or download the beta from the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/app/nockout/id6477323254 https://apps.apple.com/app/nockout/id6477323254). Thanks so much for any feedback or suggestions—I'm excited to hear your thoughts and keep improving the platform!
