I find these tools super awesome, but i never use them beyond trying them out once, because they don't usually come with coreutils or something like that. Haven't found a way to use these tools in a user-local way. For my own homemade tools, i put the binary in my dotfiles and they end up in .local/bin and i can use them by default. I can do that because I don't need to update them.
