I don't think Google is buying Wiz because they hope that revenue from Wiz will make it worth their money. They surely expect some kind of strategic advantage from that, probably something to do with security of their own infrastructure, or maybe competitive advantage for gaining government or gov-adjacent contracts, or maybe they were afraid that Microsoft or Amazon could buy it and hurt their existing business.
