It depends on the server. The best discussions I've found are ones targeted at hobbies which have both a lot of new people looking to get started and some old timers who provide advice and guidance and answer questions.
- lordofgibbons 2y agoYes, this has been my experience. There are Programming language or framework servers, but they typically don't have a great social scene. People just drop by to ask questions or to discuss features. The ones around hobbies and interests are more vibrant for socializing.
