There’s no reason for democratic countries to have these kinds of authoritarian controls. The labeling of content as illegal is a dangerous weapon. I think there could be a way of fixing inauthentic content or accounts and improving transparency with algorithms, to have healthier social media. But going beyond that just looks like manipulation of the public and of elections.
