- sherdil2022 2y agoWhy didn’t anyone working in that company raise any alarms? Were those who knew silenced?
- mrkeen 2y agoI'm not sure the question makes sense. It's like raising an alarm if you discover that your colleagues are "moving fast and breaking things".
- actionfromafar 2y agoWhile taking in billions of NASA dollars. It's not like there isn't precedent.
- rini17 2y agoThere is ample precedent for NASA stubbornly holding on to sunken costs, too. Yes probably it's forced on them but still.
- Terr_ 2y ago"We should have done many things differently starting a decade ago" isn't a particularly actionable warning an individual employee can give. Author's point seems to be that the process and promises are optimized to trapping taxpayer funds, rather than succeeding on budget or failing cleanly.
- sgt 2y ago>That is why Starship keeps failing and will continue to fail. What a complete moron.
